Novel on Inkit

I've posted one of my novels, set in the same multiverse as Dragon Knights but in a later period on Inkit. Please go and vote for it or at least give me feedback.Tales of Midbar: Secret Priest

I've removed the Webring navigation because, at least on some browsers, it was automatically redirecting to the Webring site, giving users hardly any time to see the Dragon Knights entry page. I'd tried logging in to Webring to try and fix this but I can't remember my password. When I clicked the "Forgot Password" link it said that it had emailed my password to me but it didn't. There was no "Contact Us" or "Help" link. Is Webring still a going concern?

If you know more about Webring than me, I'd like to know. As always, let me know if you have other issues, like the lack of updates. I'm working on other projects but if people say they want more of this comic, I'll probably change my priorities.

Here's a very interesting talk with the creator of an anti-Islamic comic book series: http://youtu.be/Pgxi3sExLrM

Upcoming novel

Sorry there hasn't been much happening on my web site for a while. Part of this is because I've been working on a series of novels set in the same multiverse as "Dragon Knights" but in a later period. I plan on self publishing the first of these, Religious Intolerance as an ebook because when I explained the premise to some publishers they threw up their hands in horror and clearly thought it was way to controversial.

I'm not working on the cover design. I've done a number of rough versions and I'd like feedback on what people think works best. You can see these at: https://www.facebook.com/richard.pearman.79/media_set?set=a.10201613718637595.1073741825.1017344828&type=3

Firefox 18

I've just tested Firefox 18 and discovered that its SVG support has some horrible bugs which make a total mess of this comic. One seems to involve hieght, width and viewBox so that images that should occupy the whole window only occupy about 75% of the height and width. Also internal svg elements (most frames are separate svg elements) don't display about from the top left hand corner.

Also the hot zones not only don't display but also don't recieve events, which really messes up the interactivity.

I've reported these things to Firefox so hopefully they'll be fixed soon.

Finally a new update

I can't believe it's been nearly a year since my last update. Part of the problem was Freehostia constantly shutting down my acount because of high traffic. I've solved that now.

This update is Hernandez trying to use his powers on a Leviathan. Yes it's another animated update.

I will try to get the next one done faster. It shouldn't be too many updates to the end of Part IX.

SITE FREQUENTLY DOWN

Sorry about this but I don't really know what I can do about it. Freehostia keeps suspending my account, claiming that it's getting too much traffic. If I really was getting lots of traffic it should translate into a certain amount of fame and fortune for me and I'd willingly pay to increase my traffic limit, but this isn't happening. Nobody seems to be clicking on my adverts, emailing me, commenting on my blog, voting for Dragon Knights on web comic sites etc. What's more Google Analytics says that I'm getting very little traffic. Clearly something is wrong. If anybody has any ideas what, I'd like to know (those movies aren't hosted my Freehostia so it can't be somebody looking at those without using my website and Freehostia doesn't allow other sites to display images it hosts but I'm not sure about SVGZ files but most of those include links to other parts of my site which Google Analytics does monitor).

Anyway I'll see if I can sort things out. Perhaps, if you're viewing this site, you could send emails (the gargoyl takes them) or click on my advertising links, comment on this blog or something.

There should be a new update in the near future.
